Partner Profile

The Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University (EUNU) was founded in 1920. By that time it was the first Higher Education establishment in Donbass region, training of specialists for machine-building enterprises. During the last 90 years the amount of areas of technical preparation were diversifying and increasing and humanitarian ones were introduced. Today, 35,000 students receive their Higher Education at 24 faculties. The teaching staff is represented by 170 doctors of sciences, professors and 700 candidates of sciences, associate professors who contribute to the research work at EUNU. In 2004, EUNU was one of the first universities in Ukraine that signed Magna Charta Universitatum in Bologna. Thus, EUNU approaches the standards of study of European education, operates to strengthen the role of independent student work and promotes student and staff mobility.
