Civil Society Representatives Transnational Themed Working Group

The role of civil society in building stable democracies and peace is crucial. Members of this WG are both experts from La MANCHE as well as representatives of the civil society and the non-governmental sector in the La MANCHE countries. In total, this WG has 178 members, 152 of them being external stakeholders. In the course of the last project year Partner Countries universities has reached out to numerous NGOs active in the field of education and youth. This has happened through face-to-face meetings, skype sessions and through the La MANCHE VTT. Chief goal of setting up this WG was to provide both online and offline opportunities for good practices exchange and joint problem solving in the field of university governance and higher education reforms between the education sector and the civil society.
